Each month we receive an array of beautiful children’s clothes to recycle but due to our stringent quality control criteria and maintaining our company ethos to only pass on the very best, well looked after garments some of the items we receive fall short and don’t quite make the grade. They are still highly desirable and are by no means ready to be made into rags!

Here at ecofashionrocks.com we are passionate about supporting Barnado’s and donate all the clothes that don’t get to be featured to this very worthy cause.

Barnardo’s (or The Ragged School as it was then) was founded by Thomas Barnardo in 1867 when he came to London and found children sleeping in the streets and begging for food. He believed in children regardless of their circumstances, gender, race, disability or behaviour and his work still continues today.

Barnados now helps over 110,000 children, young people and their families each year and believes that every child deserves the best start in life and the chance to fulfil their potential.
